Mary Cole

1937 - 2025

Mary "Barbara" Cole, 88, of Jeannette, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born Sept. 25, 1937, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Andrew and Blanche (Staney) Zollinger. Prior to her retirement, Barbara was a registered nurse and was employed by several local hospitals and facilities. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jeannette, where she was very active, and a member of the former local Eastern Star Lodge. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Cole, in 1994; a son, Donald A. Cole; a daughter, Lynn M. Cole; brothers, Bill and John Zollinger; a sister, Joanne Lou Baughman; and a very special aunt, Mary Weller. She is survived by a daughter, Meggan Keenan of Jeannette; grandchildren, Cameron Cole (Robin), Mya Cole, and Samuel Harper; great-grandchildren, Nolan John Cole, Luca Andrew Cole, and Aria Grace Cole; a sister, Patricia Constantine of Jeannette; a sister-in-law, Diane Little of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Bridge's Hospice nurses and staff for all of the kind and compassionate care that Barbara received during her illness. As per Barbara's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be private. JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette, is entrusted with arrangements. Barbara's final request was that any contributions or support may be made to her daughter, Meggan, and grandson, Samuel, as they sacrificed so much to lovingly and endlessly care for her.
