Mary E. Miliotis

Mary Elizabeth (Galetto) Miliotis, 102, of Greensburg, passed in her daughter's home Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024. She lived over a century with a life filled with family. She will be remembered for her outgoing and entertaining personality and giving nature. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Rosemary Freger and Bonnie Miliotis and dog, Milo; and her adored granddaughter, Amanda Freger. Mary will be reunited with her departed and loving husband, Nick Miliotis; her beloved parents, Remo and Rosina (Bonavia) Galetto; son-in-law, John Freger; and all her siblings, Tony Bertolino (Mildred), Josephine Occhuzzio, Helen Violet Masilli (Lawrence), Lydia Catherine Farzati (Frank), Jennie Joseph (Allen), Mamie Repasky (Albert), Fred Galetto (Theresa), Adeline "Dod" Germano (Patsy), and Elsie Fiorina (Sam); granddogs, Sushi and Zeus; and various relatives. Mary also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins with whom she took much pleasure. Mary graduated from Greensburg High School, spent her young years working in the garment factory and once owned Joe's Restaurant in Greensburg. She also worked for many years at Farzati's Greenhouse. She relished teaching Sunday School at Harrold Zion Lutheran Church. Mary loved country/gospel music and singing. She was always the life of the party and would do almost anything for a laugh along with her sisters. May she rest in peace and beauty in God's eternal embrace. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum.
