Mary I. Milowicki

1927 - 2024

Mary I. "Myrd" (Kirchartz) Milowicki, 96, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank and Isabelle (Hess) Kirchartz. Mary began her career at Hornes Department Store, Pittsburgh, before becoming a supervisor in the fabric department of Hornes in Greengate Mall. She was an expert seamstress! She was a member of Our lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Other than her family, Mary's great love was the Steelers organization, which includes many personal friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter P. Milowicki; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Milowicki; and brother, Frank Kirchartz. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ellen Tiberio and Patricia A. Fredo; son, Paul R. Milowicki (Terry); six grandchildren, Michael Tiberio (Belinda), Daniel Tiberio, Debra Miller (Jeff), Lee Fredo, Joel Milowicki (Mia) and Jesse Milowicki (Maggie); 12 great-grandchildren, Keenan, Neve, Kaylynn, Walter, Katie, Matisyn, Isabella, Andrew, JP, Giada, Jace, Evelyn and expected great- grandson, Alexander; lifetime and dearest friend, Marcia Little; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg.
