Mary Ann Reeger

Mary Ann Reeger, 77, of South Huntingdon Township, died peacefully on Saturday morning, July 3, 2004, in TLC Personal Care Home, West Newton. She was born Feb. 5, 1927, a daughter of the late Edward C. Sr. and Rose Wachs Dailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Reeger, in 2002. Mary Ann was a hard worker, having worked at the former Walton's Tearoom in Lincoln Heights before her marriage. She also did cleaning, painting and general housework for many people. She is survived by her three children: George and his wife, Cheryl, Diana Beckinger and her husband, Gary and Donna Kelley and her husband, Dale; five grandchildren, Sherri Hess, Gary Beckinger Jr. and wife, Tina, Amy Lewandowski and husband, Don, Jennifer Reeger and Lucinda Vincent and husband, Dale; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Beckinger, Shawn and Stone Lewandowski and Deya and Edge Hess; a sister, Agatha Brown; three brothers, Dell, Edward and wife, Mona and Paul and wife, Marilyn; and cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her special friends who called, visited and provided meals or desserts. Viewing will be held at the RICHARD F. DODSON FUNERAL HOME, 213 Main St., West Newton, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Westmoreland County Memorial Park with the Rev. Claire Beam officiating.
