Mary Widdows Obituary

Mary Jane (Ashbaugh) Widdows, 66, of Loyalhanna, (Derry Township), died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1952, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Harry and Thelma Ashbaugh. She was a former employee of the Arc of Westmoreland. She was a member of Mammoth Christian Fellowship Church and a volunteer at Latrobe Senior Center. She enjoyed all the friendships she made while camping and camping with her late husband, Tim, and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy L. Widdows, in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Garufi, of Derry, her son, Brian and wife, Louise (Willochell), of Irwin; two grandchildren, Jon Michael and Hanna Garufi; and nieces, Chelsea and Whitney Widdows; a brother-in-law, Mark Widdows and his wife, Debbie (Pivirotto); and her faithful pet, Oreo, with whom she enjoyed her time. She loved dogs and Christmas.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public visitations. A private funeral service will be held at the Church of God, 1204 Broad St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Burial will be private.
