Maryann C. Minick

Maryann C. Minick, 69, of Scottdale, died Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Maryann was born March 15, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, to the late Joseph T. and Mary D. Kendi Minick. Maryann was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School, Class of 1972, and worked as a veterinary assistant at Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital for many years. Maryann loved going to the beach in Atlantic City and spending time with her family. Maryann is survived by her life partner, Stephen King; her brother, Joseph J. Minick; Jason and Jessica Burnsworth, who were like her own children; and by many cousins and friends. Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph T. and Mary D. Kendi Minick. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by her funeral mass at 11 a.m. in Visitation of Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.
