We met Maurice many years ago as we walked daily on the GAP Trail. We´d shout out greetings to one another as we passed by. Eventually we´d stop and talk. You couldn´t meet a nicer man. We enjoyed his sense of humor and always looked for him, his dogs or his truck. We offer our condolences to his family. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to his family and to Jill. Our last conversation was the da before his passing. He was very concerned about his daughter who was having surgery and health issues. He was also very excited about making sure he had taken care of having rabbit and chickens for her daughter because that is what was important to her. He embraced everyone he met and knew as a friend no matter who they were. He had a great sense of humor. All who knew him will miss him dearly. Prayers for his family and friends. He now lays at peace in God´s loving arms.
