Michael Sorokach

1946 - 2023

Michael F. A. Sorokach, 77, of Trafford, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, in UPMC East, Monroeville. Mike was born April 3, 1946, in North Braddock, the son of Anna Sorokach. Mike was retired from Westinghouse/Bechtel Machinery Inc. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. John Kanty Lodge in Trafford (Polish Club). He loved Steelers and Pitt football. He coached the Yankees Little League baseball team in Trafford and he was a very kind and generous person. In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann "Bunnie" Sorokach. He is survived by his son, Michael C. Sorokach, of Trafford; several cousins; and other family members. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St., (State Route 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. A private burial will take place in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
