Nancy Bartos Obituary

Nancy L. (Farmer) Bartos, 72, of Lowber, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. She was born March 7, 1939, a daughter of the late George and Cecelia (George) Farmer. Nancy enjoyed solving puzzles and crocheting, as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Farmer Jr. and Dennis Farmer. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stephen Bartos; six children, Stephen (Kim) Bartos, Laura (Mike) Kardos, Brenda (Donald) Smouse, Bryan (Bonnie) Bartos, Ryan Bartos and Cindy (Jim) Lash; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcy (Barry) Horvat and Darla (Tom) Shaffer; two sisters-in-law, Rose and Carol Farmer; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 901 Vine St., West Newton, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery. www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
