Nancy Moninger Obituary

Nancy Moninger, 67, of Holiday Park, formerly of Delmont, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born Feb. 16, 1937, in Delmont, a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Mains) Kirkpatrick. Nancy retired as an office manager from Best Locking Systems and enjoyed her hobbies of tole painting and ceramics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna Lynne Kane; and a brother, James Kirkpatrick. Surviving Nancy are her loving husband of 42 years, Cecil Moninger; a son, Jason E. Moninger and wife, Stacy, of Salem Township; two grandchildren, Remington and Hope Moninger; a brother, Robert Kirkpatrick and wife, Nancy, of Delmont; a sister, Barbara Love and husband, Robert, of Indiana, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received in the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Nancy's funeral services will be held Saturday at noon in the funeral home with Pastor Steven J. Myers, of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations for Nancy Moninger be made to Christian Fellowship Academy -- THE PLAYGROUND FUND, 2005 Ridge Road, Jeannette, PA 15644.
