Nancy J. Timko

1944 - 2025

Nancy Jean Timko, 81, of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully on Sept. 17, 2025, in Greensburg. She was born Aug. 11, 1944, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Howard and Mary Jean (Dunsworth) Potts. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, John E. Timko; two children, Gregory Timko of North Huntingdon and Wendy Criner of North Irwin; and two grandchildren, Sean Criner and Rebecca (Brian) Downs. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Kamden, and Kora, who brought her great joy. Nancy is further survived by her brother, Terry (Sandy) Potts; and her sister, Elaine (Randy) Funk; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Nancy was a faithful member of Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church in North Huntingdon, where she generously volunteered in the kitchen for church events. She enjoyed giving her time in service to others, but her greatest happiness came from being with her family especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prior to her retirement, Nancy worked for Pressley Ridge as the office manager for 20 years. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.
