Natalie Arduini Obituary

Natalie A. (Damico) Arduini, 93, passed peacefully on Nov. 15, 2024, in her apartment at the Grand Residence of Upper St. Clair. She was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Testa) Damico. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Albert; and three sisters, and a brother. Natalie was the happiest spending time with her four children and their spouses, Pam Lewandowski (Stephen), Paul Arduini (Kathy), Alan Arduini (Annie), and Karen George, her eight grandchildren, Joseph Nicholas, Michelle, Aaron, Stephen, Sara, Paul, and Spencer; four great-grandchildren, Arthur, Gabrielle, Natalie, and Marin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Natalie was a friendly and kind soul who had a circle of friends in the many places where she resided, including, Greensburg, PA, Muncie, IN, Singapore, Zanesville, OH, and Bethel Park, PA. She and husband Al were avid bridge players and belonged to a number of bridge clubs where they garnered top scores and winnings together. They were also involved in the community Elks organizations participating in service projects and socializing with their friends on Friday nights, listening to music and dancing. Natalie picked up the game of golf in her forties and was immediately 'hooked' on the game. She and Al played various golf courses together and with friends. Later in life, she would be glued to her TV watching the PGA Tour and cheering on her favorite players. She was a lifelong Steelers fan, even though she was known to change the channel when they were losing. She also volunteered at the hospitals in the communities where she lived. Natalie stayed connected to her roots and familial place of origin, Cercemaggiore, Italy. She celebrated the annual Feast of La Madonna Della Libera in July this year surrounded by her family. Natalie continued to make friends and enjoy activities at Paramount Peters and the Grand Residence. She called both places home and truly felt loved and cared for by the staff of both residences. She thought of them as family. Her family would like to thank the staff of Paramount Peters, Grand Residence, and Anova Hospice for all the loving care she received these past few years. We are very grateful for the almost 94 years that we were able to spend with her and that she had a good quality of life until the very end. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Anova Hospice, 17 McKean Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.bachafh.com
