Pauline Slatt Obituary

Pauline J. Slatt, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. She was born April 15, 1942, in Brownton, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd E. Sr. and Icie Mae Vance Wright. She was an active member of Norwin Christian Church. Pauline volunteered at Camp Christian, of Mill Run, and she enjoyed supporting her grandsons' endeavors. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Floyd E. Wright Jr.; and a sister, Gerry Veltrie. Pauline is survived by her husband, Johnny M. Slatt; a son, John (Christin) Slatt, of N. Huntingdon; two daughters, Michele Slatt, of N. Huntingdon, and Melinda (Darin) Donelly, of Martinsburg, WV; two grandsons, Jonathan (Natalie) Slatt, of Greensburg, and Christopher Slatt, of N. Huntingdon; and a sister, Eloise Hollen, of WV. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Norwin Christian Church, 9610 Barnes Lake Road, Irwin. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Christian, 472 Killarney Road, Mill Run, PA 15464.
