Ralph L. Kuhn Jr.

1939 - 2022

Ralph Lee Kuhn Jr., 83, of Allegheny Township, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, in his residence. A son of the late Ralph L. Kuhn and Janet (Grimmenstein) Kuhn, he was born Jan. 5, 1939, in Rosedale. Ralph had worked as a foreman with Kuhn Construction for 42 years; as well as being owner/operator of Crossroads Inn & Motel in Allegheny Township for more than 37 years. He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. Ralph enjoyed buying classic cars, spending time with his family and especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, L. Diane (Miller) Kuhn, of Allegheny Township; a son, Scott A. Kuhn (Michelle), of Allegheny Township; a daughter-in-law, Diana R. Kuhn, of Allegheny Township; five grandchildren, Shane (Lea), Chad, Chase, Troy and Carlee Kuhn; brothers, Donald Kuhn (Sarah Jayne), of Penn Hills, and Jimmy Kuhn (Ellen), of Florida; sisters-in-law, Linda Kuhn, of Virginia, and Kathy Kuhn, of Plum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Shawn L. Kuhn, in 2021; and brothers, Dale and Dwight Kuhn. Friends will be welcomed by his family from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at the CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at the funeral home prior to funeral ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James V. Arter III officiating. Entombment will held at Greenwood Mausoleum in Lower Burrell immediately following services.
