I could never have imagined that the last time I saw him recently would be just that. It was good to sit casually with Raymond and share a meal in a Church. [ Old school Christianity there. ] We are both proud Hempfield Spartans and are a declining population now at our ages. Raymond had that sense of humor with that razor sharp commonsense and no BS personality. With Raymond . . what you saw was what he was . . . no pretense . . . just a good ol' human being. I'm proud to have called him my friend. I'll miss his sense of humor.

I read about the passing of your brother Raymond. I specifically remember him as the pleasant young guy who helped out with equipment and related matters during our August football practices so many years ago. You have my condolences. Losing a sibling, especially a younger one, is difficult. I understand that from my own recent experience. Again, from an old friend, you have my condolences at this time of your loss . My deepest condolences on Ray's passing. I knew him through work at WCC and he was such a gentle, spiritual soul. I will miss his deep voice singing in the kitchen and him asking me to tie his apron because it was hard for him to reach around his back. We always hugged at the end of the evening before we left. God speed Ray!

I have just read the sad news that our dear friend, Ray Guest, passed away this week. He was our beloved "do it all" guy in the kitchen at WCC. Whether grilling burgers & steaks at Sunday BBQs and golf outings, carving ham, turkey and tenderloins at brunches and weddings... he was always present, kind and provided us with so many laughs. When bowling with our Club league, he would limp up to the lane, slam his cane down, throw the ball forcefully down the lane and typically score the highest of all of us. With his powerful, yet kind, personality.. he was an absolute force. As a devout Christian, Ray always gave exceptional advice and always parted the end of the workday with a "God Bless You". I am a better person for knowing him. May his memory be a blessing!

Remembering you all at this time of loss.As some people journey through life they leave footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion, joy and faith. Even when they are gone, the trail they leave behind continues to inspire us that's the legacy Raymond has left.
Be Blessed family and friends
