Rebecca "Becky" (Sabulsky) Basista, 68, of Tarentum, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 24, 1957, daughter of the late Harry and Theresa (Klucinec) Sabulsky. Becky was a lifelong resident of Tarentum. She was a 1975 graduate of Highlands High School. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, camping with the family, and playing bingo. Becky worked at the Harmarville Rehabilitation Center and retired in 2021. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Greg Basista; daughters, Heather (Brian) Waters of Tarentum and Rachel (Josh) Hank of Crescent; sister, Mary Ellen Hadricky of Maitland, FL; aunt, Myra (Michael) Klucinec of Des Plaines, IL; grandchildren, Landen, Nolan, and Piper Waters and Oliver Hank; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Besides Becky's parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Harry Sabulsky of Tarentum; aunt, Mildred Klucinec of Boca Raton, FL; uncles, Michael Klucinec of Des Plaines, IL, Frank Klucinec of Tarentum, and Melvin and Marie Sabulsky of Lower Burrell; Arthur and Edith Sabulsky of Harwick; grandparents, Michael G. and Veronica (Hudek) Klucinec; and John Klucinec of Tarentum.
