Victor Treskovich Obituary

Victor B. Treskovich, 85, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born Dec. 25, 1917, in Hostetter, he was a son of the late Frank and Julia (Biehun) Treskovich. He was a member of St. Vincent Basilica. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Teledyne Vasco Co., Latrobe. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and a member of American Legion Post 982, Unity Township. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Olga M. (Vecchetti) Treskovich, who died July 30, 2001; five brothers, John, Casmir, Joseph, August and Adam Treskovich; and a sister, Vanda Koshar. He is survived by three daughters, Judy Moyer and husband, Ron, of Loyalhanna, Diane Domenic and husband, Allan, of Pittsburgh, and Sandy Treskovich, of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Jackie, Rhonda, Ronnie and Alan; two great-grandsons, Ryan and Chance; a sister, Pauline Hovanec, of Hostetter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe. Interment in Unity Cemetery.
