Robert F. Banze

Robert F. Banze, 94, of Murrysville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Arden Courts of Monroeville. He was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Pittsburgh, son of the late William and Helen Godsell Banze. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jene F. Banze; a son, Richard K. Banze; a brother, James R. Banze; and a sister, Elizabeth J. Edwards. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville and was a veteran of the Army, having served during World War II. He was past Commander of the American Legion, Highland Park Post. Robert is survived by a son, Paul (Lynn) Banze; a daughter, Janet (Michael) Carter; a daughter-in-law, Marcie Banze; eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; three brothers, William, Arthur and Walter Banze; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at HART FUNERAL HOME, 3103 Lillian Ave., Murrysville, PA 15668.
