Robert James "Bob" Bilott, 84, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Redstone Highlands of Greensburg, where he has lived for the last five years. Bob was born June 12, 1931, in Larimer, a son of the late James and Pauline Dragger Bilott. Bob was a graduate of North Huntingdon High School class of 1949 and Robert Morris Business School. He served his country in the Army in the 1950s. Bob married Rose Sekuta on April 7, 1953, and they had four children. Bob was a salesman most of his life and he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. He had a lifelong love of his family's hunting camp in Tidioute; the Larimer Buckhorn. Bob retired from sales in 1996 and became involved in the Irwin Moose Lodge 236, where he would eventually serve as governor, and administrator. He was honored to be named to the Moose Fellowship. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, who died Sept. 13, 2010; a brother, Franklin, who died in 1933; and a sister, Pauline Bilott Rush, who died in 1961. He is survived by his children, daughter, Tina (Mark) Oesterlin, of North Huntingdon, Dr. James (Jennifer) Bilott, of Greensburg, John (Kim) Bilott, of Baltimore, Md., and Dr. Anthony (Dr. Anne) Bilott, of Butler; three grandchildren, Capt. Jesse (Chantel) Lopata and their new son, Lincoln James, currently in training in San Antonio, Texas, Anne Marle Bilott, of Butler, and Wyatt Bilott, of Md.; one brother, James Bilott and his wife, Cindy, and their sons, Jason and Chad, of Georgia; a niece, Teressa Rush Cover, of Thurmont, Md.; and a nephew, John Sekuta, of Cranberry Township. In addition, he is survived by many cousins and dear friends. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. Parting prayers will be held 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.
