Robert F. Kalkstein

Robert F. Kalkstein, 91, of Murrysville passed away the morning of Sunday Jan. 7, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (Martin) Kalkstein; loving father to Kurt (Stacey) Kalkstein, Sharon (Jim) Rohall and Leslie (John) Collette; and loving grandfather of Cory Glasgow, Ashley (Evan) Bauder, Rachel Collette, Matthew Kalkstein, Ryan Collette and Krista Rohall. Robert was the brother of the late Edward (late Edna Mae) Kalkstein and late Carol (Gerald, surviving) Dirks; and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Robert was a veteran of the Army having, served during the Korean War. He was a former salesman for the Continental Research Corporation. He was deeply faithful to the Catholic Church. He loved to go fishing and was very active in supporting his grandchildren's sporting events. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather to his beloved family. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024.
