Ronald Hamilton Obituary

Ronald E. Hamilton, 88, of Markle, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 22, 1934, in New Kensington, to the late Thomas W. and Dorothy Jean Mikesell Hamilton and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Mr. Hamilton was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing on Medix Run in Elk County and Lake Erie. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Grace L. Brink Hamilton; 11 children, Ron (Angela) Hamilton, of Vandergrift, Darlene (Scott) Yute, Jenny (Leonard) Spiering and Mary (John) Rugh, all of Allegheny Township, Debbie McFall, of Leechburg, Dave (Susanne) Hamilton, of Allegheny Township, Roberta (Russell) Linderman, of Natrona Heights, Mary Kay Kaminski, of Tarentum, Denise (Lonnie) Cowfer, of Sarver, Claire (John) Snyder, of Tarentum, and Deborah (Evan) Merlo, of Natrona Heights; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Mona Jean Hamilton (Barbara Felt), of Lower Burrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas L. Hamilton. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Harold Mele. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. www.RusiewiczFH.com.
