Ronald "Ron" Dean Reese, 64, of Latrobe, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 13, 2025. Ron lived a life marked by generosity, strong loyalty to his roots, and a deep appreciation for the people around him. Alvarado family

Yesterday

Mr. Ronald was known best by his young patient, Elia Alvarado. He was a wonderful nurse who became like family to us. He treated my two girls with such kindness, and over time he truly became part of our lives.

Elia was his patient for four years, and she adored him-odd as it may sound, they became the best of friends. If she wanted to play Legos, they played Legos. If she wanted to color, they colored together. They played Mario Kart, watched movies-just like any two friends spending time together. Every Friday became their special lunch date and injection day.

He will be deeply missed by our family. Sadly, Elia didn´t get to say goodbye in person, but we hold close the words he always said to her before leaving: "See you later, alligator."

So, see you later, alligator. You are, and always will be, missed by the Alvarado family.

Ron was my nurse , a fellow vet and Steelers fanatic. We had many hours the past few years filled with gripes and laughs. He was a good man that cared for his family , friends and patients.
