Ronald Stewart Obituary

Ronald A. Stewart, 84, of Irwin died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, in Hempfield Manor. He was born Jan. 22, 1941, in Jeannette, a son of the late James A. and Margaret June (Lydick) Stewart Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James A. Stewart Jr., Carl E. Stewart Sr., J. William Stewart, Curtis A. Stewart Sr., Nancy A. Parson, Betty E. Stewart, and Shirley F. Stewart; two infant brothers; two infant sisters; and stepmother, Ruth N. (Frye) Stewart. Ron previously worked at Westmoreland Glass, Burrell Garage, and Lander Garage and was a truck driver for DeLallo prior to retirement. Surviving are his sister, Karen Titterington, and her husband, John "Jack,"; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park. Ron's family wishes to thank the staff at Hempfield Manor for the wonderful care they gave Ron.
