Steven Rhoads Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Steven Rhoads, 61, of Ligonier, on Tuesday, Sept. 23. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Denise Rhoads; two daughters, Rachel Rhoads and Lindsey Miller; their husbands; and five grandchildren, who were the joy of his life. He also leaves behind his father, Lloyd Rhoads; stepmother, Mae Rhoads; two brothers, Randall Rhoads and Larry Hoffman; a sister, Tracey Rhoads; and many others who loved him dearly. Steve loved his family more than anything. He could fix anything with his hands and rarely met a machine he couldn't bring back to life. He was generous and would help anyone he could with anything. He made an impact on everyone he met. He loved the woods and mountains, where he found peace and joy, often sharing that love with his children and grandchildren on walks, quad rides, and adventures. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family and was loved fiercely by his family. A celebration of his life will be held in the days to come.
