Suzanne W. Lonabaugh

Suzanne Wiesner Lonabaugh, 81, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Brookdale Murrysville. She was born on Nov. 2, 1944, in Greenfield, daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Daffern) Wiesner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Wiesner and Ronald F. Wiesner; and a great-nephew, Samuel Gorseth. Sue worked for Westinghouse Research and Development in Churchill for over thirty years as a graphic designer and was also a volunteer for Murrysville Medic One. For the past 10 years, she was a hostess at the Wooden Nickel restaurant in Monroeville. Her interests included trapshooting; she was an ATA trapshooting champion and dog show competitions. She was especially proud of her Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Vizsla Grand Champion, "Kato." Sue is survived by her beloved husband, David F. Lonabaugh of Murrysville; sisters-in-law, Joan Wiesner, Mary Lou Riley, and Deanna (Wayne) Lonabaugh; nieces and nephews, Ron (Alice) Wiesner of Cranberry Township, Kimberly Wiesner Gorseth of Seven Fields, Michelle (Mark) Sumption of Frederick, SD, and Mark (Amber) Wiesner of Lewis Center, OH; her nine great-nieces and great-nephews, Tanner, Hannah, Sophie, Lizzy, Morgan, McKenna, Leah, Nate, and Ryan; and her best friends, her dogs, Chip and Razal. Visitation for Sue will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at the funeral home.
