Venie Ann (Taylor) Angelini, 81, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. She was born June 6, 1944, in Greensburg, PA. Daughter of the late Lester S. and Thelma A. (Walt) Reynolds. Venie graduated from the former Sewickley Township High School and then went on to attend Robert Morris University. She was a 20+ year member of the Christ Lutheran Church in West Newton, and was a very devout Lutheran. She was an organist for St. Matthews for many years and taught piano locally. Venie worked and retired as a postmaster after 20+ years of service. She began in Madison and retired from Sutersville. Venie was a very sociable, kind, and generous woman. She loved to sew, read, do puzzles, and listen to Elvis music. She was an excellent cook and baked bread for her family every Sunday. Venie was a cat lover and always had a rescued kitty. In her younger years, she enjoyed trips to Niagara Falls with her family. She was preceded in death by both parents; loving first husband, Jim Taylor; loving second husband, Samuel L. Angelini; and sister, Ruth Hoak. She is survived by daughters, Robbin L. Robl of Manor, PA, and Linda (George) Graham of Latrobe, PA; sister, Alice Fritsch; step-grandchild, Amanda (James) O'Neill of Nazareth, PA; step-great-grandson, Jase; step-great-granddaughter, Harper; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and loving companion kitty, Swift. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison, PA 15663 Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Zeman officiating. Interment will be private.
