Wilbur F. Frye

Wilbur F. Frye, 74, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, November 22, 2025. He was born December 19, 1950, in North Huntingdon, a son of the late Earl and Margaret Jane (Dudley) Frye. Wilbur was retired from the Norwin School District and helped operate the family business, Earl's Dairy Whip, for many years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Lance A. Frye and his brothers Earl K., Robert S., Welty F. and Norman G. Frye. He is survived by his wife Betsy J. (Bouldin) Frye; his son Luke A. Frye and his wife Amanda; his granddaughter Piper Jane Frye; also brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 29, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 30, in the First Presbyterian Church, 617 Main St., Irwin, with Rev. Doug Rehberg, officiating.
