Alan C. Braden, 42, of West Leechburg, formerly of Fawn Township, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 5, 1979, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Tom A. and Cindy A. (Zalewski) Braden, of Fawn Township. Alan was a 1997 graduate of Highlands High School and a 2018 graduate of New Castle School of Trade. He lived in West Leechburg since 2010. Alan was employed as a glass setter for the Union Glazier Local 751.He previously was employed as a safety coordinator for Allegheny Ludlum, Bagdad. Alan was the owner of Deadwood Racing and Performance and was member of American Woods Racing Series. He shared his love of racing quads and building quad motors with his three sons. Alan enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mariam Braden; maternal grandparents, Harry and Harriet Zalewski; and uncles, John "Spink" Braden and Steven Zalewski. Alan is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Sarah L. (Silvio) Braden, of West Leechburg; sons, Alan, Johnny, and Chase Braden, all of West Leechburg; sister, Tabatha (Joe) Flanick, of Oakmont; brother, Tim Braden, of New Kensington; in-laws, Robert and Carol Silvio; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services 300 Market St. Leechburg Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021 from 2 until the hour of service at 8 p.m. with Pastor Gary Lyon officiating.
