Anthony Cardella Obituary

Anthony M. Cardella, 64, of Bovard, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. He was born March 30, 1960, in Greensburg, a son of the late Louis and Carmella Deceser Cardella. He was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School. Anthony was a member of the Bovard Volunteer Fire Department and the Hempfield Township Fire Police. He was a social member of the VFW Post 33, Greensburg. Anthony is survived by his brother, Louis Cardella of Bovard; three nieces, Stacey (Rob) Dennis, Renee (Alex) Palanzo, and Bittany (Randy) Rothwell; and multiple great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A liturgy service outside of Mass will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
