Clara Ann Marsich

Clara Ann (Smolcic) Marsich, 92, of Yukon, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Frick Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, PA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 30, 1931, in Yukon, PA. Daughter of the late Peter J. and Anna (Hustack) Smolcic. She graduated from the South Huntingdon High School Class of 1949. Clara was a lifetime member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Yukon, PA. She was also a member of the SNPJ Lodge 729 and the Croatian Fraternal Union. She enjoyed cooking comfort food for friends and family, going to bingo, and to the casino with her family. Clara liked bowling, gardening, and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams. She was preceded in death by both parents; and loving husband, Charles J. Marsich. She is survived by her loving son, Charles E. Marsich of Yukon, PA; nieces, Andrea (Dave) Blevins and Marcia Zep; nephews, Bill (Pam) Marsich, Mike (Debbie) Marsich, and Tim (Karen) Marsich; and great-nieces, Claire, Tiffany, and Jessica. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., Route 136 Madison, PA 15663, Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church, 102 Center St. Yukon, PA 15698, with Fr. Dave Nazimek officiating. Those of you wishing to attend the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow at the Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery.
