Clodagh H. Grayson, 95, of Granville, Ohio, formerly of New Kensington, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Vandergrift, to the late Samuel and Alice Cribbs Hunger. She was a graduate of Vandergrift High School, Class of 1944. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, Granville, Ohio, with Msgr. Paul P. Enke, as celebrant. Private interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in New Kensington. Clodagh worked beside her husband, John, at their State Farm agency. She was member of St. Edward Church, Granville, and formerly a member of Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington. A devout and faithful woman, Clodagh was an excellent cook and hostess. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending the Pittsburgh Symphony, and playing bridge. Surviving are her daughters, Cathy Schumaker and Gwenn Grayson; grandsons and their wives, Damon and Kristine (Campolo) Schumaker, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Aaron and Erin Gilbert-Schumaker, of Newark, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Sydney Schumaker, and Nickalus and Isaiah Schumaker; step great-grandson, Brayden McElhiney; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Clodagh was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, John R. Grayson, who died March 1, 2021; and siblings, Mary Leslie, Olive Ceraso, Dorothy Hunger, Sam Hunger, Ruth Leach, Robert Hunger, George Hunger, Richard Hunger, Alice Betty Lukehart and Walter Hunger.
