Dale Bayne Obituary

Dale E. Bayne, 59, of New Kensington, died peacefully Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at his home. He was born May 5, 1949, in New Kensington, son of the late Arthur R. and Virginia E. (Espey) Bayne, and lived his entire life in New Kensington. He was a self-employed carpet installer with his brother-in-law, Michael Yourema, and had formerly worked at Braeburn Steel. A 1967 graduate of the former New Kensington High School, he was a member of Arnold United Methodist Church and of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and classic movies and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Michelle L. (Yourema) Bayne; son, Matthew H. (Tammie) Bayne, of New Kensington; daughter, Kelly B. (Damien) Heakins, of New Kensington; grandsons, Dominik Bayne, Austin Bayne, Eli Heakins and Nikolas Heakins; sister, Nancy (Richard) Cappello, of Lower Burrell; and niece, Elizabeth Yourema, of New Kensington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Owen Bayne. Relatives and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Harold M. Mele Jr., pastor of Meadows Christian Community Church, Washington Township, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold. Visit www.dusterfuneralhomeinc.com.
