Debra Feroce Obituary

Debbie Ann Feroce, 65, of Lower Burrell, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021. We share with heavy hearts that she passed peacefully with her family in Florida, after her long battle with cancer. She was born June 4, 1955, the daughter of Gloria (Demma) and late Robert Guerrieri, of New Kensington. She attended Valley High School and went to business school in downtown Pittsburgh. She worked at Alcoa for 10 years before retiring to do what her heart truly desired, raise her two daughters. Debbie spent many years working part-time in administration for Burrell School District, volunteering for PTA and other school related activities. She worked for many years at TryLife Center, launching the abstinence program and giving presentations all around Westmoreland County in the school's health classes. She was an extremely passionate person and would make friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed walking, traveling, being with friends, her weekly prayer group, and lounging by the pool or on the beach but most of all, being with her family, especially her two grandsons. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 46 years, Gary Feroce. She was a dedicated mother to Nikole (Mike) Dvorchak, of Naples, Fla., and Brittany Feroce, of Estero, Fla. She was beloved Grammy to her two grandsons, Talon (5) and Dax (3) Dvorchak. Their Grammy was so special to them and will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She was sister to Michelle (James) Seanor and Robert Guerrieri; and daughter-in-law of Patricia (Bertolino) and late Orlando Feroce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends who deeply love and will miss her. She lived a full, happy life and left an impact on anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to TryLife Center in her name, 1155 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068, or online at www.trylife.center. Arrangements were entrusted to LEGACY OPTIONS FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES in Bonita Springs, Fla. We invite you to join us for a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Riverside Community Church, 151 Pittsburgh Mills Circle, Tarentum, PA 15084.

Nikki, I apologize for my late condolences; I only just learned of your mother's passing. Losing a parent is a
incredibly difficult profound loss.I can deeply resonate
with the sharp pain that sits inside your heart ,because I
lost my dad from Cancer 1yr
ago.Your mother was a wonderful person who
touched the lives of many. I know Christmas will be
challenging for the rest of your life. May your family and
you find solace in all the priceless memories and
qualities that she expressed
throughout her life. Your family will be in my thoughts
during this difficult time. There is no shortcut in grieving unfortunately.
Please remember your not alone.
