Donna Shaffer Obituary

Donna L. Shaffer, 92, of Cheswick, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Christina and Michael Watts. Beloved sweetheart wife to Gerald J. "Jud" Shaffer, who preceded Donna in passing in 2020. Loving mother of Sandy (Rich Sipes) Shaffer and Sherry Shaffer. Bamma of Nick (Lisa), Tyler (Lauren), Alex, Chris (Kerri), Kali, and Kate. Great-grandma of Tommy, Lily, Isabella, and Jace. Preceded in death by four siblings. Donna was a firm believer in the Springdale Spirit, attending every sports and school event throughout the years. She was also an avid Steelers fan. She was a member of Springdale Vet's Women's Auxiliary, the Eastern Stars, and First Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Kensington. She will forever be remembered by her family and friends and those who knew and loved her. And now, she is finally back with Jud after 62 years of marriage together. Services are private for immediate family and handled by BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., Oakmont.
