Edward Pino Obituary

Edward J. Pino, 71, of South Bend Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at his residence. He was born in 1949 in Pittsburgh to Patsy E. and Esther Hetrick Pino. Ed was a 1967 graduate of Gateway High School in Monroeville. He earned an associate degree at CCAC Boyce Campus. He was employed as a winder for Westinghouse Electric and later worked for Westinghouse Nuclear in robotics. Finally he retired after 14 years of employment for Philips Respironics, in New Kensington. Ed enjoyed hunting and coached Little League when his children were younger. He liked to play cards and being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diana Waugaman Pino, of South Bend Township; three daughters, Crystal McLaggan and husband, Chris, of Virginia Beach, Va., Laura Clayton and husband, Tad, of Apollo, and Donna McClure and husband, Jeremiah, of Leechburg; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Aaron, Natalie, Brittney, Emily and Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Hudson; one sister, Erda Pino, of Shelocta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Patsy A. Pino and infant Donald, and his aunt, Erda Brown. Funeral services will be private.
