Gabriel Aubele Obituary

Gabriel E. Aubele, our superman, 3, of New Kensington, lost his fight to Trisomy 18 Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, with his family by his side at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 19, 2011, in Pittsburgh, to John Raymond Jr. and Michelle Lee Corrie Aubele. Gabe was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and was always very happy and joyful. He enjoyed family trips and spending time with his parents, brothers and other family members. In Gabe's three years he gave tremendous happiness to those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Todd Bostwick, and Jordan and Brayden Aubele; paternal grandparents, Jack and Dianna Aubele; maternal grandparents, Harry and Genevieve "Sis" Corrie; uncle and aunts, Sean (Kim) Corrie and Tracey Corrie; and numerous great-uncles, aunts and cousins. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street where Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell. Burial will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum. The family suggests donations made in his name to: Reagan's Journey, 249 Vine St., Kittanning, PA 16201. http://www.rusiewiczfh.com.
