Born Aug. 26, 1917, in West Leechburg, she lived in Allegheny Township most of her life. Mrs. Klingensmith was a member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leechburg, and Lutheran Church Women. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crochet. Survivors include two sons, Charles F. Klingensmith of West Leechburg and Donald L. Klingensmith of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Isabelle Podolinsky of Allegheny Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. Klingensmith; her parents, Harry and Eliza Hodge Vogel; two brothers, Robert and Charles Vogel; and two sisters, Dorothy Rarie and Josephine Schumaker. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 10 a.m. until ceremonies at 11 a.m. Wednesday at CLAWSONS, Second at Main streets, Leechburg. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Edward Sheehan. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Allegheny Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Hebron Lutheran Church or to the charity of one's choice.
