Gloria Brinker Obituary
She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Harrison. Mrs. Brinker was a member of Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ivan L. Brinker; two sons, Dean J. Brinker of Winfield and David Brinker Sr. of Tarentum; five daughters, Mrs. Tara (Blair) Harvey of Winfield, Mrs. Renee (Paul) Hickey of Butler; Diane Chiarenza of Harmony and Mrs. Karen (Howard) Reith and Mrs. Denise (Robert) Corbett, both of Jefferson Township; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Campbell of Jefferson Township; and three sisters, Margaret Block of Tarentum, Irene Staley of Harrison and Mrs. Mary (Ernest) Hershey of Charleston, S.C. She was preceded in death by a son, Blaine Brinker, and her parents, Frank and Carrie Watson Freehling. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in FOX FUNERAL HOME, INC., Saxonburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Officiating will be the Revs. Jonathan Troyer and the William McCreary, pastors of Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will be in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church, 306 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
