James Kiley Obituary

James W. "Jim" Kiley, 87, of Odessa, Fla., passed away early Tuesday morning, May 24, 2022, while briefly receiving care in the Life Care Center of New Port Richey. He was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Latrobe, and grew up in Arnold. He was the son and eldest child of the late James and Elizabeth (Rowe) Kiley; and brother to siblings Harry, Richard and Joetta Kiley. Jim was proud to have served in and earn the sergeant title while in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed collecting firearms, watching football and NASCAR racing, driving and traveling across country and participating in the Kiley Family Reunion get-togethers. Jim was a strong, decent, fair and intelligent man who will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him best. He is gone but will never be forgotten! In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen (Bell) Kiley; sister, Joetta Kiley; daughter, Lorraine M. (Kiley) Harcina; adopted son, Arthur A. (Tony) Kiley and of course his crazy calico cat of 18 years, "Topaz." Jim is survived by his daughter, Karen L. Kiley and his son, James W. Kiley Jr., both of New Kensington; brother, Harry T. Kiley, and brother, Richard F. Kiley, both of Lower Burrell; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. At Jim's request, services were made private.
