Janet Walker Obituary

Janet M. Walker, 60, of Fawn Township, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at home. Born April 24, 1954, in Harrison Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Gertrude (Ehrmentrout) Smith, and had lived in the area all of her life. She was a homemaker. Janet enjoyed bingo and she loved her boxers. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronald A. Walker Sr.; two sons, Ronald A. Walker Jr. (Rebecca), of Fawn Township, and Larry E. Walker (Masa), of Fawn Township; two daughters, Sheri Cummings (Thomas), of Plum, and Amy Walker, of Fawn Township; 12 grandchildren; and two brothers, Harvey Smith (Roberta), of Fawn Township, and Bill Montgomery (Connie), of McKean County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Aller and Darlene Leasure. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, in the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, in the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Vanderhoff, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Harrison Township. Condolences may be made at http://www.krynickifh.com.
