Joseph J. Diak, 86, of North Huntingdon, died Aug. 10, 2025, at Independence Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1938, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Joseph G. and Annabelle E. Kozlowski. Joseph was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Prior to retirement, Joe was employed by MSA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at his camp in Tionesta. Joe enjoyed watching Western movies. Joe was a jack of all trades, and there wasn't anything he wouldn't try. His favorite pastime was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dolores Jean Santimyer Diak; three sons, Michael (Shari), Steven (Amy), and Jeffrey (Donna); daughter Jennifer Mollise (Sal); seven grandchildren, Samantha (Dalton), Jacob (Angie), Amanda, Rebecca (Tyler), Mikayla, Nicholas (Victoria), and Madison (Edward); and great-grandchildren Steel, Aaliyah, Amelia, Jensen, and Seren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME INC., 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at St. Agnes Church. Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
