Joyce L. Heasley

1938 - 2016

Joyce L. Heasley, 78, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2016. She was born March 12, 1938, in Natrona Heights, to the late Glenn and Anna Kelley Humphreys and was a 1956 graduate of Har-Brack High School. Mrs. Heasley was a member of the Puckety Presbyterian Church of Lower Burrell. She enjoyed watching older television classics and spending time with Sharon's dog daisy. Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, James G. Heasley; two daughters, Sharon (Ron) Chodkowski, of Leechburg, and Lynne (Bob) Miller, of Natrona Heights; as well as her two granddaughters whom she adored and loved spending time with, Macy and Justine Miller; and her sister, Anna E. (Gene) Bish, of Freeport. She also enjoyed watching the animals around her country home.
The family will receive friends from 6 until services at 8 p.m. Tuesday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. The Rev. Derek Campbell will officiate. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
