Kathleen A. Gabriel

Kathleen Ann Gabriel, 69, of Lower Burrell, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, in Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was born in Natrona Heights Jan. 30, 1953, to Bernice V. Orkwis Arasin, of Lower Burrell, and the late Vincent S. Arasin, and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Mrs. Gabriel was a graduate of Burrell High School and worked for Iron City Brewing, Harmarville; Westinghouse, Monroeville; and had also worked with her son, Jeremy's, chocolate business, Fudgie Wudgie. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and enjoyed going out to dinner and going to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach, S.C. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons, Brandon and Bryan Gabriel, both of Lower Burrell; grandchildren, Briella and Koby Gabriel, Glenn, Joseph, Kasen and Kalia Francis; and brother, Ronald V. Arasin, of Lower Burrell. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald V. Gabriel; son, Jeremy R. Gabriel; and life partner, Elmer Duke Francis. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., 15068.
