Lawrence E. 'Larry' Heckman, 83, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. He was born July 5, 1942, in Apollo, a son of the late Chalmer E. and Florence (Zimmerman) Heckman. Larry had attended Grace Baptist Church. Larry was a member of the American Legion Post 18 in Slickville. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. Larry was a lifelong Pirates fan. He loved canning food at home. Prior to retirement, he worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local Union 5, Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; his sister, Esther Kiebler; and his brother, Howard Heckman. Surviving are his wife of nearly 44 years, K. Elaine (Myers) Heckman; his three children, Bradly, Christine, and Kimberly; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald Heckman, and wife, Carol. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, with Pastor Victor Koshir officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
