Lillian Frank Obituary

Lillian R. Frank, 88, of East Franklin, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin.

She was born Nov. 5, 1916, in Kittanning, daughter of the late Peter and Elvira Marzoli Montebell.

She was a member of St. Mary Church, Kittanning.

She worked at the Schenley distillery, Loblaws, Monty's Freeze Fresh, where she made pizza from the 50s to the 70s, the Mon-Shan pool, the Belmont Arena, where she was a supervisor until 1979, and Twin Lakes Par 3.

She enjoyed needle crafts, crocheting, gardening, baking and volunteering at St. Paul Monastery and St. Mary Church.

She is survived by a sister, Helen M. Jones of New Kensington; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Frank, on Oct. 9, 1944; brothers, Hugo and Edward Montebell, and an infant brother, Peter; sisters, Lucy Picanzo, Elizabeth French, Antoinette Shullo, Dora Colaizzi and Katherine Montebell.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Church, 101 High St., Kittanning. A parish wake service will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday and a prayer service will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday, both in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
