Lois Choltko Obituary

Lois (Frye) Choltko, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2017, with her Florida family members by her side, at the age of 93. Born Dec. 12, 1923, in Irwin, she lived in St. Petersburg, Florida, with her granddaughter, Laurie. She was cared for by her daughter, Carol, and granddaughter, Laurie Jochumsen, and adopted daughter, Patty Quinn, while she lived in Florida. Lois loved her family and everyone she touched loved her. She enjoyed singing, cooking and baking for her family on Sundays and holidays. She attended St. Joseph school and was a member of St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. She is survived by her children, Carol (Don) Schumaker, of Florida, Mary Ann (Dan) Bosman, of Natrona Heights, Frank Choltko III, of Plum, Elaine (Gary) Berkoben, of Tarentum, and Joyce (Marvin) Williams, of Upper Burrell; loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and is also survived by her sister, Betty Ferguson, of Lower Burrell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Choltko Jr., and brother, Joseph Frye.
A service will be announced at a later date.

my very loving mother, you were the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I can't believe you are gone , but I know you are in heaven and no longer in pain. I will miss giving you hugs and kisses as soon as our plane landed. miss you your daughter and family

My heart is broken but I know you're in peace and I know one day we will be together again ..
