Margaret A. "Peggy" Pacek, 85, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, in St. Anne's Home, Greensburg. She was born March 9, 1940, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Margaret (Macey) and George Pacek Sr. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a registered nurse at Westmoreland Hospital. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Moyer; brother, George Pacek Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Ceward "Shiner" Poole and William Moyer. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Poole of Greensburg; a brother, Regis Pacek and wife, Carol, of Little Rock, AK; four beloved godsons, Rick Moyer and wife, Maryanne, Gregory Moyer, Michael Poole, and Bradley Poole and wife, Samantha; and several other nieces, nephews, and family members. A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Please go directly to the church. Inurnment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
