Margaret A. Palcic

Margaret A. 'Marge' Palcic, 95, of Mammoth, died Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Life's Promise Personal Care Home, Cook Township. She was born June 18, 1929, in Mammoth, a daughter of the late Ignac S. and Mary E. (Repiscak) Palcic. Prior to retirement, she was employed by AAMCO Sewing Factory (formerly Union Apparel) in Norvelt for 50 years. She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United, and its Altar Society, and was a graduate of Hurst High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Stephen R., Ignatius S. 'Iggy,' and George E. Palcic; and five sisters, Ann Skovira, Kay F. Palcic, Agnes L. Palcic, Pauline Newell, and Mary Tandaric. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Robert Newell, Debbie Chappell and husband Frank, Stephen Palcic and wife, Debbie, and George Palcic Jr.; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m., in St. Florian Catholic Church with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.
