Margaret J. Palczer, 90, of Cabot, formerly of Leechburg, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in Good Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit of Concordia, Cabot. She was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Leechburg, a daughter of the late Stephen Palczer and Barbara (Bettes) Palczer. She was employed as an insurance coordinator for Brackenridge Works of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1983. A member of Cross Road Community Presbyterian Church, Leechburg, she was also a past district deputy of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the former Allegheny International Toastmasters Club, Monday Evening Club, Leechburg, a past president of the board of deacons of Graystone Church, Leechburg, and a 1937 graduate of Leechburg High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Stephen Palczer, Andrew Palczer and Karl Palczer; and a sister, Julia Szuch. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 10 until the time of funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. Monday in Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., Leechburg, with her pastor, the Rev.
