Marvin R. Walters, 84, of Penn Hills, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. He was the beloved husband for 57 years of Maureen (Forbeck) Walters; father of Anne (Dave) Koenig and Jeffrey (Sabrina) Walters; brother of the late Harry M. "Milt" Walters; and brother-in-law of Vera Walters, Thomas (Kathy) Forbeck, Donald (Sally) Forbeck, Paul (Nancy) Forbeck, Dot (Bob Westling) Fitzgerald and Michael (Amy) Forbeck. Marvin was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph), where he was a money counter for many years. He enjoyed reading, traveling, walking, solving math problems and was a history buff. Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, in Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph). Please wear a mask during visitation and during funeral Mass.
