Marvin R. Walters, 84, of Penn Hills, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. He was the beloved husband for 57 years of Maureen (Forbeck) Walters; father of Anne (Dave) Koenig and Jeffrey (Sabrina) Walters; brother of the late Harry M. "Milt" Walters; and brother-in-law of Vera Walters, Thomas (Kathy) Forbeck, Donald (Sally) Forbeck, Paul (Nancy) Forbeck, Dot (Bob Westling) Fitzgerald and Michael (Amy) Forbeck. Marvin was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph), where he was a money counter for many years. He enjoyed reading, traveling, walking, solving math problems and was a history buff. Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, in Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph). Please wear a mask during visitation and during funeral Mass. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph, 825 Second St., Verona, PA 15147), or Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Road S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
